MICE and Events Management
The Bachelor of Business Administration Program in MICE and Events Management degree program is structured so that students get familiar with the hospitality industry especially in Meeting Incentive Convention and Exhibition (MICE) and Events Management since the beginning of the program.
Two field training units was structured equally important parts of the program, one in MICE venues or Convention Hotels and one in Professional Convention Organizer (PCO) or Professional Convention Exhibition (PCE). These internships provide opportunity for the students to use theoretical and practical in events management business acquired in class to workplace practices and get ready for a prime career in hospitality industry especially in MICE and Events Management Business.

Introduction to Hospitality Industry and MICE and Events Business
The first year is a broad introduction to Hospitality Industry and MICE and Events Business and basic knowledge in general education courses. This year students will gain basic knowledge about Events Business which included Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention and Exhibition. Students will gain basic knowledge about the role of each element which impact on business and social. Students will also learn about events business opportunities and threats, type of service, etc.
Morals and Dusit Characters for Hospitality Industry
In addition to knowledge for hospitality industry and MICE and Events Business Management, students will begin to understand the morality, ethics, and Dusit Characters as the core values to follow. Students will also gain the knowledge and understanding of social manners, service psychology, life planning, social harmony, public spirits, sufficiency economy study, and professional ethics.
Core Business Knowledge for Hotel and Resort Management
Business courses play vital role in sophomore year, students will gain more knowledge in various business components namely; introduction to statistics, principles of communication, principles of marketing, business law, business accounting, business statistic, and business computer. Beside these business courses students will also learn introduction to food and beverage service, introduction to tourism, and introduction to culinary arts which all these courses will give students holistic picture in hospitality enterprise.
Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention, and Exhibition
In junior year, students will learn in-depth detail on each element in classes and get chance to explore the industry. The faculty will take students to MICE Venues such as Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), IMPACT Arena Exhibition and Convention Center (IMPACT), and Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
During this year students will explore the series of management courses which included Meeting, Convention and Exhibition Management, Catering Service Management for MICE and Events, Venue Management, Events Management, and Incentive Travel Management.
Supervised Field Training: focusing on practical in workplace
This is first internship unit which are aimed to increase students skills by training in MICE Venues or Convention Hotels. Students are encourages to use their personal relationship, networking, or consulting with faculty to find appropriate workplace to match with his/her character. During the practical in an enterprise students will gain professional experience and discipline, skills in working with others, self management, problem solving, maintaining professional ethics and making report and presentation. The unit gives students opportunities to make use of knowledge and skills that acquired from the entire previous year.
Senior year, as students will graduate and get bachelor degree in business administration after pass all requirement which is business courses are one of the most important part. The business courses that students will participate in this whole year are including business forecasting, risk management and safety for MICE and events, innovative marketing for MICE and events, strategic management, seminar in hospitality industry and human resource management and development in hospitality industry.
Supervisory Field Training: focus on practical in PCO or PEO
This is the final internship unit which is aim to develop students supervisory and managerial skills by training in Professional Convention Organizer or Professional Exhibition Organizer as well as enhance their professional experience and discipline, creativities, skills in working with others, self-management, decision-making, problem solving, maintaining professional ethics and making report and presentation.
